Tracie Lindblad - M.Sc., M.Ed., Speech-Language Pathologist
President, Clinical Supervisor

Tracie received her undergraduate degree with a Specialist in Psychology and a minor in Linguistics from the University of Toronto. She attended the University of British Columbia for her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and later attended Brock University where she completed a Master of Education in Curriculum.

Tracie is a Speech-Language Pathologist with a special interest in serving children with Autism and other related Pervasive Development Disorders. She has extensive experience in the assessment, design, and implementation of intervention strategies to address: communication skills, social skills, and curriculum difficulties for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders. As well as providing assessment, programming, and consultative services, Tracie also runs group therapy sessions for children with Autism/P.D.D. for development of communication skills, play skills, and social skills.

Tracie is the founder, President, and Clinical Supervisor of Four Points. She has received accreditation from the Ontario regional EIBI (Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention) Pre-school Autism program as a Clinical Supervisor for children receiving the Direct Funding Option (DFO) for their IBI services. Tracie has received extensive training in developing programs, analyzing data, supervising therapy teams, and supervising centre-based and home-based therapy for individual families.

Tracie also supervises our ABA programs out of our New Brunswick clinic for families in Eastern Canada.

Jennifer Cook - Hons. B.F.A.
Intermediate Therapist / Senior Therapist - Centre- and Home- Based

Jennifer joined Four Points in February 2005 to assist with therapy and supervision during our many maternity leaves! She received her B.F.A. from York University with two additional years studying at the University of Calgary. She was a recipient of many scholarships and earned a consistent standing on the Dean's Honour Roll. Her studies include using theatre as therapy and a teaching tool for children. She is currently enrolled in the Autism and Behavioural Science Ontario Graduate Certificate Program at Seneca College. She received her ABA Certificate from Behavior Analysts, Inc.

Jennifer has seven years of Applied Behaviour Analysis experience, which consists of extensive training from Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists and other Clinical Supervisors trained directly by Dr. Lovaas and Dr. Carbone. She has also had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one question/answer sessions with Dr. Vince Carbone and Dr. Patrick McGreevy.

Jennifer has attended several workshops, conferences and training sessions lead by professionals, including Dr. Vince Carbone, Dr. Patrick McGreevy, Dr. Stanley Greenspan, Dr. Serena Wieder, Carol Grey, Nancy Rowe, Rebecca Claw and Christina Burk.

Jennifer has worked the past four years at a senior level, developing programs, analyzing data, supervising therapy teams, and setting up home-based therapy for individual families. She has trained and supervised more than a dozen therapists, all of whom are successful in the field today.

Jennifer has an additional five years of related experience with children, including work as a sports coach, a camp counselor, an instructor for Mad Science where she received the “Most Valuable Instructor” Award each semester she taught, and as an in-class tutor for the Toronto District School Board teaching children with varying learning disorders, behavioural challenges and E.S.L.

Vicki Sanders
Therapist - Centre Based

Vicki has over 14 years experience working with children with special needs which includes:

  • Certified care provider with Halton Region
  • Special Support Services and Respite care with Halton Region
  • Support Facilitator for Parkview Children's Centre

    Since joining Four Points in 1997, Vicki has received the following training:
  • 3 day ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) course
  • 2 day Picture Exchange Communication System course (PECS)
  • 2 day Verbal Behaviour course
  • certified in Infant CPR & First Aid

Lianne Shiraishi- B.Sc., B.Ed.
Senior Therapist - Centre Based

Lianne has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Family and Social Relations and a Bachelor of Education with qualifications in the Primary/Junior Stream. She has worked extensively with pre-school and school-aged children in a variety of settings.

Lianne has worked as an ABA therapist for the past four years. Her experience and knowledge of autism have developed through her participation in many professional development activities such as:

  • the Geneva Centre Summer Training Institute
  • Applied Behavioural Analysis training at the Geneva Centre
  • Dr. Carbone's verbal behaviour workshop
  • PECS certificate
  • and she is working towards her special education qualifications.

Lianne completed a special education placement at The Gregory School for Exceptional Learning. While at the school, she gained experience working with students with ASD in a classroom setting and implemented Direct Instruction curriculum. Upon graduation, Lianne was hired on as a teacher. She has also completed classroom placements in a Grade 2 E.S.L. cluster and Grade 6 I.S.S.P. cluster. Lianne has had experience with program creation and implementation as a camp counsellor and program director for a local sports camp where she developed programs for children of varying abilities.

Lianne joined Four Points in 2004 and brings a strong educational/curriculum background to our dynamic team.
